Who can resist the temptations of delicious pastry, various cakes, croissants and pinca? To be honest, we have long since ceased eating just because of hunger. Instead, we eat because of our prevailing desire for pleasure and comfort that good food gives us. It makes our day and is an indispensable part of our holidays and cuisine.

ROLLED DUMPLING 200 g

Rolled dumplings are made of leavened dough and chocolate filling. It has much in common with the walnut potica and can also be referred to as "mini potička" (a very small potica). It is best eaten warm with a cup of milk.

PINCA SWEET BREAD 300 g, 500 g

Pinca is a classic fine bakery product made of leavened dough which is most often made in the Primorska region. A similar Pinca to ours is also made in the Istrian peninsula and in the region of Trieste. The dough is rich for apart from the basic ingredients, it also contains sugar, butter, eggs, grated lemon or orange peels and a bit of rum by choice. The lengthy dough kneading and processing procedure gives the product a pleasant freshness and makes it last for several weeks. It has a specific design which is obtained by cutting into the surface three times and a sparkling golden-yellow crust.

CROISSANTS

The gentle taste of a home-made croissant for a gentle start of a new day. Croissants will delight everyone with little time for a decent breakfast in the morning. And also those who only have time for a quick snack. They will also delight both young and old who like to pamper themselves at home with a tasty croissant which will simply melt in your mouth.  Croissants are right on cue for a mid-morning or afternoon snack and are suitable for everyone, especially children who are constantly moving. You can choose from a variety of fillings – from the classic apricot to chocolate, hazelnut or walnut fillings. Wholemeal croissants and croissants with seeds which are slightly richer in fibre are also available.
