Mixed bread

Mixed breads are made from a mixture of different flours. They are made from sourdough, enabling longer shelf life. The bread is distinguished by low brittleness, a soft centre, long-lasting freshness and a characteristic full taste.

JANEZ SEMI-WHITE LOAF 1 kg

The appearance of this loaf already clearly shows that seeds have not been used sparingly – the unevenly light to dark brown crust is sprinkled richly with pumpkin and sunflower seeds, linseeds and maize meal.  Although this loaf is made of semi-white and brown wheat flour, it also contains rye flour and maize meal. It has a holey, supple, soft crumb, which is also rich in seeds. It calls out for butter, saying: "One more piece please!"
